如何搞定雅思写作连贯性与衔接性

　　在写作评分标准里，有这么一项：Coherence and Cohesion。雅思中文官方网站上的写作评分标准里对这一项评分标准是这样解释的：
　　Coherence即连贯性，指文章的流畅程度，文章的观点应该逻辑清楚、排列有序，段落结构恰当以便理解和把握；

　　Cohesion即衔接性，指的是连接词的使用，他们可以帮助整合观点，能够阐明段落之间或者句子之间的关系。下面北京新东方凌伶老师将与大家分享下如何搞定雅思写作的连贯性与衔接性。

　　对于论点的问题其实多去看看参考书目或者网上的资料就能够有思路，而且结构一般都能把握住。

　　但是比较要命的在于如何加强段落与段落之间或者句子与句子间的衔接性，即cohesion的问题。实现cohesion的一个很好的方式就是使用linking words，有时也经常叫做cohesive devices。

　　为了在写作考 试中有效得分，鼓励同学们在使用简单的语句的同时多多搭配连词的使用。

　　实际上，几乎在文章中的每一个句子应该或多或少有些连接词，除了开头的背景句以外。另外，要注意的是连接词不同于我们平时常说的连词conjunction，linking words更多的是泛泛地指起到衔接作用的词，因此可能包含了常见的连词、副词、短语或者代词等。

　　下面我们先来看一个例子：

　　题目：

　　Some believe museums should entertain people， while others believe their purpose is to educate. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

　　主体段之一：

　　However， many other people see museums as powerful educational resources. For example， the British Museum in London， England is arranged to provide its visitors with a very informed look at the roots of humanity. Patrons leave this museum with a much richer understanding of historical topics， and this understanding is something they can apply to their everyday endeavors. Thus， the heightened benefits of this opinion regarding the role of museums can clearly be seen.

　　在这样一个主体段里面，我们可以看到连接词已经被标注了黑体，而且这些连接词简洁而有效地帮助句子进行了衔接。

　　However-被用来作为本段与上一段落相对比的关系而存在，在其后，紧接着表达了作者在本段内容的主题句。

　　For example-向读者说明作者下一步要罗列具体的例子，而大英博物馆的名字就随之出现在了连接词之后。

　　This-接下来作者连着使用了两个this，分别作了不同的指代，第一个指代museum，表示本句是对于上句话的进一步展开，说明该博物馆的教育性特点。第二个指代understanding，来展开说明上一句中提到的understanding会带来的好处。这两个this就是作者对举出的大英博物馆的例子进行探讨的过程，为后面提出结论打下伏笔。

　　在For example…everyday endeavors这期间，其实就是对于主题句的细节展开，在展开里面，每一个细节比如a very informed look at the roots of humanity， richer understanding of historical topics都是对主题句中的educational resources的详细化。因此整个论述是有很强的逻辑感与衔接性的。

　　Thus-表达出通过上面的探讨作者得出的结论，即博物馆扮演的教育性角色的好处是显而易见的。This opinion 这样的代词使用帮助避免了语义的重复。
